This examination, while extremely beneficial is NOT a medical diagnostic ultrasound. No measurements of your baby will be taken, no evaluation of the baby's or mothers anatomy for abnormalities will be performed and this ultrasound is in no way meant to replace any ultrasound that your obstetrical healthcare provider would request during the course of your prenatal care.
